It is a reboot problem. We go thru diagnosis and computer comes back on but then it returns back to the same problem within few days. The Dell technician came by (3) times and changed parts, but same problem comes back within two months. I bought it from a local Staples so I took it back to return, but they asked me to call DELL and return to them. I called DELL and they said that I need to return it to Staples. Now I am going back in circle with no one wants to take it back, even if it is still under warranty. Where do I start...well I guess I should warn you not to buy this horrible product. It has not worked since the day I received it and the folks in tech support have attempted to fix it three times. No luck. They seem to be nice guys but none of the three were capable and only managed to make the situation worse. The best part is that they successfully charged me $244.00 to remove a virus from the computer that didn't actually have a virus. Turned out that Internet Explorer 9 could not access my gmail account which caused the computer to open page after page. I installed Mozilla and solved that problem and then had to get a refund for the software that I did not need. Next call was for the same issue plus some continuing problems from the first fix that disabled vital programs on my computer. I have only used it minimally for personal use. I have had more problems with it then I have used it!! I had problems with updates crashing the computer 2 days after I got it. Then this was a continued problem 2 months later. Then a few months after that I have had the CD/DVD drive and mother board replaced twice and it has now broken AGAIN!!! Also, the touch screen on this computer was such a bad idea, anything will activate the touch screen, your finger, fingernail, pencil, and bugs!!! So if you have a fly or mosquito flying around your house the insect will of course run into the lovely bright screen and open windows and make selections for you while you are try to work on it.The all in one and wireless setup was nice and convenient but not worth the trouble with everything else. |
